Fahari Wasi

Fahari Wasi has a diverse work experience starting in 2015. They began their career as a Research Intern at Ashanti Advisory in January 2015. In February of that year, they worked as a Project Trainee at Carbon Africa Ltd. They then joined Ennovative Capital and Centerprise Africa Limited in December 2015, working as a Working Capital Analyst and an Analyst respectively until March 2019. Currently, Fahari holds multiple roles at PowerGen Renewable Energy, starting as Commercial Development in May 2019, then transitioning to Business Development Manager in August 2022. They are currently serving as the Head of Investment since June 2023.

Fahari Wasi attended Strathmore University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Actuarial Science. Prior to that, Fahari Wasi attended Aga Khan High School from 2007 to 2010, but no degree or field of study was specified. In terms of additional certifications, Fahari Wasi obtained several from various institutions. In 2018, they obtained the CFA Level 1 certification from the CFA Institute. In 2017, they obtained the CT2: Finance and Financial Reporting certification, the CT3: Probability and Mathematical Statistics certification, and the CT-7: Business Economics certification from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. In 2014, Fahari Wasi obtained the CT1: Financial Mathematics certification from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
