Andrew Gay has over 30 years of experience in the power sector. Andrew served as Group Chief Financial Officer at PowerGrid Services and was responsible for providing critical infrastructure solutions to the North American Power Sector. Prior to that, they worked as Chief Financial Officer at Shermco Industries, where they managed finance and IT functions and completed several M&A deals. Andrew also served as Senior Vice President & CFO at NAES Corporation, a leading independent power generation service provider. Before that, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at URS Flint Transfield, overseeing the finance function across Canada. Andrew Gay has also held various finance roles at Australand, Softlaw, Vodafone, Barclays Bank Plc, and KPMG.
Andrew Gay completed their education in the field of Business Administration and Management by obtaining an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School from 2004 to 2006. Before that, they pursued an honorary degree in Accounting and Finance as a Certified Practising Accountant in 1994. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Technology between 1987 and 1991. Furthermore, they became a Chartered Accountant by completing a degree in Accounting and Finance from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 1993-1994.
