Ed Mendez

Ed Mendez is an accomplished Senior Visual Effects Supervisor at PowerHouse VFX, a position held since October 2017. Previously, Ed served as VFX Supervisor at Alkemy X from July 2008 to April 2017 and contributed to the field as a Professor at The Art Institute of Philadelphia from 2009 to December 2013. Prior roles include Compositing Supervisor at CafeFX, Compositor at Esc Entertainment and Kleiser Walczak, and Editor at Broadcast Images. Ed holds a Master of Fine Arts in Computer Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Science in Media Communication from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Education was initiated at Freedom High School, culminating in graduation in 1992.
