Brett Ferguson

Brett Ferguson has extensive work experience in the energy and fast-food industries. Brett began their career at Powerlink Queensland in 2004 as a Field Test Engineering Officer, where they installed, maintained, and repaired complex secondary systems equipment. In 2014, they were promoted to the role of Protection and Metering Section Leader, overseeing team members' work execution and planning business outcomes. In 2017, Brett assumed the position of Secondary Systems Field Manager, responsible for the effective delivery of engineering support and communication equipment maintenance. Currently, they serve as a Project Director, strategically planning and managing statewide resourcing strategies for Powerlink Queensland's energy future. Prior to their work at Powerlink, Brett gained valuable skills at McDonald's Corporation, progressing from Crew Trainer to Shift Manager at various stores in the Bayside area from 2001 to 2004.
