Katy Pietzner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources and operations management. Currently serving as the Manager of Employee Relations & Business Partners at Powerlink Queensland since February 2022, Katy previously held the position of Group Human Resources Manager at Flinders Port Holdings Pty Limited, where responsibilities included HR Planning, policy development, and consistent HR practices implementation. Prior experience at Aurizon spanned various leadership roles focusing on operations and human resources across multiple regions, including Senior Human Resources Consultant and Regional Operations Leader. Katy began their career at Queensland Rail as a Human Resources Advisor. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Professional Communication from CQUniversity, alongside graduate certificates in Bulk Freight Systems Management from the University of Melbourne and Employment Law from QUT.
