Abdul Basheer

Abdul Basheer is the Associate Vice President for the Project Management Group. He primarily looks after the project management activities of Industrial Construction Division and also oversees the Project Management of the entire group.

Basheer joined Power Mech in 2008 as a trainee engineer and gained vast project management experience starting from his first assignment at India’s first Ultra Mega Power Plant – 5 x 800 MW at Mundra, Gujrat. Owing to his eye for detail and strategic planning skills, he grew to be a manager in just four years and was entrusted with the responsibility of project management of many other projects. He was then made the head of project planning for Industrial Construction Division and was responsible for project management of around 20 projects at the same time. He was leading the project management activities of Power Mech’s first EPC contract – Development of Andhra Medical Tech Zone in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. In 2019 he was promoted as General Manager and is heading the Project Management Group at Corporate Office and reports directly to CMD.

Abdul Basheer is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from NCET affiliated to JNTU University, Andhra Pradesh
