Valerie Kitchell

Valerie Kitchell is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Energy Markets & Software Solutions at PowerON Energy Solutions since June 2022. Prior to this role, Valerie held several significant positions at Peak Power Inc from July 2019 to June 2022, including Director of Energy Markets, Senior Manager of Asset Management and Market Operations, and Asset Manager. Valerie's career also includes a managerial role at wpd Canada, where responsibilities included overseeing renewable energy initiatives in a subsidiary of wpd Europe, and experience as Special Projects Manager and Stakeholder Engagement Consultant at the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association. Valerie's educational background features an MBA from Smith School of Business at Queen's University, Advanced Business French from HEC Montréal, and a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa, among other certifications in business and energy policy.
