Sachin Walavalkar

Sachin Walavalkar has a diverse range of work experience in the utilities industry. Sachin began their career at Envoy in 2005 as an Asset Adoption Engineer, where they validated network designs and authorized payments. In 2008, they joined Connect Utilities as a Design Engineer, specializing in gas and electric network designs. Sachin then moved to Metropolitan, Inexus Group in 2009, where they worked as a Senior Design Engineer, managing large mixed-use sites and overseeing HV and LV network design. In 2010, they became a Design Manager at OFGEM MCCG Panel and Metropolitan Infrastructure Limited, where they led multi-utility design teams and delivered sustainable solutions. In 2013, they joined Power On Connections as a Design Manager and later became the Regional Manager, responsible for operations in the South West and South East regions. Sachin is currently serving as the Preconstruction Director at Power On Connections since 2019. Throughout their career, Sachin has demonstrated expertise in design, project management, and regulatory compliance in the utilities sector.

Sachin Walavalkar completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Production from the University of Mumbai, spanning from 1997 to 2001. After that, they pursued a Masters degree in Business at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2003 to 2004.
