Sam Spencer

Sam Spencer serves as the Group Vice President of Software Engineering at PowerSchool, leading the engineering efforts for the Unified Talent product suite and related applications since August 2015. Previously, Sam held the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at PowerSchool, overseeing global software development and quality assurance teams. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Engineering at Pearson, where responsibilities expanded from Software Engineering Manager, and as a Software Engineer at Apple Computer, focusing on applications and business process efficiencies for the Education Division. Early career experience includes managing web presence for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Sam holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from California State University-Sacramento.
