Alireza Kahrobaeian Ph.d.

Alireza Kahrobaeian Ph.D., P.Eng. has extensive experience in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. Currently working as a Team Lead and Specialist Engineer at Powertech Labs Inc., Alireza specializes in transmission planning, steady-state and dynamic stability studies, and model validation. Previously, Alireza worked as a Senior Engineer and Study Engineer at the University of Alberta, where Alireza also served as a Laboratory Instructor. Their research focuses on modeling, analysis, and control of smart active distribution systems. Alireza holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the University of Tehran.
