Madhvi Ramnial

Madhvi Ramnial has had a diverse range of roles and responsibilities throughout their work experience. Madhvi began their career at Powertech as an NSERC Post Doctoral Fellow, managing multiple projects in the R&D sector and bringing in significant funding. Madhvi then moved on to Simon Fraser University, where they worked as a Research Associate, specializing in Environmental Gas Sensors and Analyzers.

Returning to Powertech, Ramnial held various leadership positions, including Senior Manager of Client Engagement, where they successfully developed go-to-market plans and recruited teams to increase revenue. Madhvi went on to become the Director of HSEQ Accreditation and Compliance, responsible for overseeing quality, safety, and environment across the organization. Ramnial also served as the Senior Director of Corporate Services and Business Operations, leading a team in providing services to internal and external stakeholders.

Madhvi Ramnial has a diverse education history. Madhvi obtained a BSc. (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Mauritius from 1997 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Simon Fraser University from 2002 to 2006. In 2009-2010, Madhvi earned a Diploma in Applied Project Management at Simon Fraser University. Lastly, they were an MOT MBA Candidate in the field of Management of Technology from 2012 to 2014 at Simon Fraser University.
