Reza Sohrabi

Reza Sohrabi, P.Eng, is an experienced Senior Engineer at Powertech Labs Inc. since May 2020, primarily managing welding and inspection projects exceeding $3 million annually while engaging with clients throughout all project phases. Previous roles include Engineering Specialist at Protech Engineering Inc., Project Engineer at Seaspan ULC, and Consulting Welding Engineer at Applus+ RTD, where skills in welding procedures, material selection, and mechanical testing were utilized. Earlier career as a Metals, Materials and Welding Engineer at ERIKS and a Materials Engineer and QA/QC specialist at Solaris MCI focused on project management and quality assurance in design and installation. Reza began the professional journey as a Materials Engineer at Iran Khodro and has a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, along with certifications in welding inspection and engineering.
