Dean Davis has a diverse work experience in the insulation industry. Dean started their career as an Insulation Site Manager at Powertherm Contract Services Ltd., where they worked from 2003 to 2012. Dean then joined Saipem as a Senior Coatings & Insulation QC Inspector, overseeing contractors' coating and insulation applications in Malaysia. Dean joined INPEX in 2013 as an Insulation Inspector, providing specialist competence and ensuring compliance with QC requirements for onshore LNG module fabrication. Dean Davis then worked for J&P- AVAX S.A. as a Cryogenic Insulation Technical Advisor, providing technical advice and support to an international insulation sub-contractor. Dean continued their career at Atlantic Projects Company as a Coating and Insulation Supervisor and later at Wärtsilä as a Cryogenic Insulation Adviser. Currently, Dean Davis is employed at MEH Alliance as an SIP Construction Engineer.
Dean Davis attended Salford College from 1995 to 1997, although the degree and field of study are not specified. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Diploma in construction from SQA – Scottish Qualifications Authority in January 2020. Dean also received various certifications, such as HDG Inspector level 2 and PFP Inspector level 2 from IMechE Argyll Ruane - NDT & ICorr in 2014 and 2013 respectively. In addition, they obtained certifications in Basic First Aid from MOG Industry Training in June 2013, NEBOSH Construction Certificate from NEBOSH in May 2010, and NEBOSH General Certificate from NEBOSH in November 2009. Furthermore, they completed the Thermal Insulation course from City & Guilds in 1997. Other certifications include Painting Inspector Level 1, Insulation Inspector Level 2, and BGAS3/2 PAINT INSPECTOR obtained from IMechE Argyll Ruane - NDT & ICorr and TWI in 2010 and 2011 respectively. The most recent certification is Confined Space Training, obtained from City & Guilds in July 2022.
