Justin Thekkekara

Justin Thekkekara serves as the Managing Director and General Counsel at PowerTransitions since April 2023, specializing in the redevelopment of legacy facilities into sustainable energy solutions. Prior experience includes positions as an Associate at Latham & Watkins from January 2022 to April 2023, and at Kirkland & Ellis from November 2020 to January 2022, as well as a notable tenure at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from September 2016 to November 2020, which began with a Summer Associate role in 2015. Justin's legal journey also encompasses a Judicial Extern position at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2014. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Virginia School of Law and dual degrees in Business Administration (BSBA) and Philosophy (BA) from Boston University.
