Maggie Phillips has a diverse work experience in the education field. Maggie started their career as a Teacher at Cobb County School District in 2008 and worked in that role until 2015. During their time there, they gained expertise in technology training integration. Maggie then transitioned to the role of Technology Training Integration Specialist at the same district, where they continued to contribute their skills until 2019. In 2019, Maggie joined PowerUp EDU as a Classroom Technology Consultant, assisting with technology implementation in classrooms. Maggie later took on the role of Head of Professional Learning & Teacher Engagement in January 2020. With their background in teaching and technology integration, Maggie has developed a strong foundation in educational technology and is committed to supporting professional growth among educators.

Maggie Phillips obtained a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University, which they attended from 2003 to 2008. Maggie later pursued a Master's degree in Instructional Technology at the same university from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Maggie has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2010, they obtained a Teacher Leader Endorsement from Metro Resa. In 2013, they received an Online Teaching Endorsement from Kennesaw State University. Maggie went on to obtain a TSC Coaching Endorsement from Georgia PSC in 2015. Maggie also holds certifications from Microsoft, including the Microsoft Innovative Educator in 2016, and the Microsoft Innovative Educator Master Trainer in 2017. Most recently, they earned the SMART Exemplary Educator certification from SMART Technologies in 2018.
