Ronen Baran

Ronen Baran has over 20 years of experience in the business and technology industries. Ronen began their career in 1989 with the Israel Defense Forces as a Lieutenant in the Anti-Aircraft Force. In 1997, they joined Intel Electronics as a System Analyst and Project Manager, where they led the Israeli branch IVR (Interactive Voice Response) project and managed software projects for the 'Fixed Assets' and 'Accounts Payable' departments. From 1999 to 2002, they held various roles at Tecnomatix, including e-Manufacturing Product Manager, where they managed development, launch and marketing activities of the company's premier Web product, co-managed the launch of the company's first ASP initiative, and identified and initiated contact with potential strategic partners. From 2002 to 2005, they were at Yahoo!, where they held the roles of Director, Corporate Strategy, Director Product Marketing - Strategic Partners & Publishers, Director Strategy and Business Planning, and Senior Manager, Operations Finance. From 2010 to 2017, they were at MarketShare, where they held the roles of Head of Product Marketing and Strategic Development, VP Strategic Development and Partnerships, and VP Product Marketing. Since 2017, they have been at Powtoon as Chief Business Officer, where they are responsible for the Enterprise business unit, including sales, account management, customer success, partnerships and channels.

Ronen Baran's education history includes an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management (2000-2002), a BSC in Industry Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (1994-1998), and attendance at Shimon Ben Zvi (1986-1989) and Shimoni.
