Tejdeep Singh Bawa

Tejdeep Singh Bawa has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tejdeep Singh currently holds the position of Vice President, Head of Business Development at POXEL since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as Senior Director and Director of Business Development at POXEL from September 2018 to April 2023. At POXEL, Tejdeep was responsible for developing a pipeline expansion strategy, identifying industry partnering opportunities, executing deals, assessing commercial attractiveness, and serving as an Alliance Manager.

Before joining POXEL, Tejdeep worked as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Back Bay Life Science Advisors, a financial advisory and strategic consulting group focused on the Life Science Sector. Tejdeep Singh also served as a Board Member at Healthcare Professionals Network from 2013 to 2016.

Tejdeep's experience in the life sciences sector also includes working as an Associate Consultant at IMS Consulting Group (now IQVIA) from January 2013 to May 2015. At IMS Consulting Group, they provided management and strategy consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotech, and other life sciences clients.

Tejdeep's previous roles include being a Research Associate at Columbia University Medical Center, a Consultant at a Healthcare Information Technology Startup, and a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University Medical Center. Tejdeep Singh was also a Research Assistant and Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they published research on the protein folding problem.

In addition to their professional experience, Tejdeep has served as Vice President at Columbia Graduate Consulting Club and as a Pro Bono Consultant for a non-profit organization for survivors of child abuse.

Tejdeep Singh Bawa pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2006, they enrolled at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2010. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, they attended Columbia University, where they acquired a Master of Arts degree in Computational Biology. In 2020, Tejdeep Singh Bawa studied the French language at the Alliance Francaise of Boston. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategy and Finance at The Wharton School, which is expected to conclude in 2023.
