Patience Ampomah

Patience Ampomah is currently serving as the FP2030 Youth Focal Point for Ghana at FP2030. Prior to this role, Patience worked as the Youth Action Movement Coordinator at PPAG (Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana). Patience has also interned at Black Women For Wellness, where Patience assisted in coordinating various projects. Their experience includes positions at Marie Stopes Ghana, U.S. Department of State, and National Population Council, where Patience honed their skills in communication, event planning, and public relations. Patience holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

PPAG (Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana)

PPAG was established in 1967 as a Non – Governmental Organization affiliated to the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). The Association has a long history of leadership in Family Planning programmes in Ghana and has pioneered many projects including Family Life Education (FLE) for the Youth, Male Clinics and the integration of Family Planning into Community Development Projects. It is currently the leading Non-Governmental Organization providing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services in Ghana. The Association works to complement the efforts of government in providing healthcare and development for the nation.
