Allan Smith

Allan Smith, MS, currently serves as Plant Operations Manager at PPG since October 2023. Prior to this role, Allan held the position of Senior Project Manager at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, overseeing New Product Introductions and Product Transfers. Allan has extensive experience as Project Manager and Assistant Plant Manager at Reliance Worldwide Corporation, successfully directing capital projects and implementing training and safety programs. At Federal-Mogul Powertrain, Allan improved delivery performance dramatically, while previous roles included leadership positions at North American Lighting, Steelcase, Inteva Products, and Delphi Automotive Systems, demonstrating a strong focus on quality, operational efficiency, and project management. Allan holds a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Angelo State University.
