Bruce Svec

Bruce Svec, CSP, has extensive experience in safety and health processes, primarily within the aerospace sector at PPG Industries, where Svec has held the position of Director of Environment Health Safety since 1985. Responsibilities include providing global support for safety initiatives across various manufacturing sites. Prior to PPG Industries, Svec worked as a Health & Safety Specialist at Libbey Owens Ford, implementing safety protocols in glass manufacturing facilities, and began a career as a Field Safety Specialist at Texas Oil & Gas Corp, focusing on safety processes for field personnel. Svec holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earned between 1980 and 1984.
