Sharon Ernest

Sharon Ernest is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the automotive and lighting industries. Currently serving as Global Account Director and President of PPG Kansai Automotive Finishes since November 2024, Sharon previously held the position of Executive Director for the Customer Business Unit at Gentherm from July 2020 to November 2024. Prior roles include Director of Sales at OSRAM Continental, overseeing NAFTA sales for a joint venture, and various leadership positions at OSRAM spanning from 1995 to 2018, including Sales Director for NAFTA OEM Solid State Lighting and Principal Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
