Shaun Pursley

Shaun Pursley, GSP, is an accomplished Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional with extensive experience in compliance and safety management. Currently serving as an EHS Specialist at PPG since January 2024, Shaun is responsible for auditing and updating various compliance programs and issuing permits for hot work, hazardous work, and confined spaces. Previously, as a Safety Specialist at Colden Corporation from October 2021 to November 2023, Shaun conducted safety compliance inspections and facilitated the resolution of near misses and non-conformances in anticipation of VPP and ISO audits. Shaun's career began as an Environmental Health and Safety Intern at the University of Pittsburgh, where tasks included noise level monitoring and water sampling for lead testing. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, earned between 2018 and 2021.
