John Byler

John Byler has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 2001, they started their career as a Recording Engineer at Alien Soundscapes Inc and later moved to Mule Studios in the same role. In 2004, they joined Computers for Schools as a Senior Tech, where they designed and implemented processes for refurbishing and deploying computers to schools.

John then transitioned to the IT field and joined Centro in 2007. Over the years, they held various roles including Senior IT Specialist, Manager IT Operations, Director Information Technology, and finally, VP Information Technology. John played a crucial role in establishing Centro's IT team, enabling the company's growth. John led a team of IT professionals, oversaw system administration, helpdesk, integrations, and training teams. John actively participated in acquisitions and the development of new office spaces.

In 2018, they joined Green Thumb Industries (GTI) as the Vice President of Technology. During their time there, they built and led GTI's first internal technology team, focusing on business intelligence, help desk support, and enterprise applications. John also sourced and negotiated vendor relationships across various areas of the business.

John's most recent work experience is as the Director of Information Technology at Paris Presents Incorporated, which they started in 2019.

John Byler attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1996 to 2001. During this time, they earned an Associate of Science degree in Recording Arts with a focus on music. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, although the specific field of study for this degree is unknown. In September 2017, John obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)².
