Annette Bannon

Annette Bannon has extensive work experience in the energy industry, primarily at PPL Corporation. Annette started their career in 1986 as an Engineer in the Nuclear Department, where they worked until 2003. During this time, they gained valuable technical expertise and experience in the nuclear field.

In 2003, Annette joined PPL Susquehanna, LLC as a Senior Assessor in Nuclear Quality Assurance. In this role, they conducted audits of nuclear programs and assessed program results against industry standards and regulations. Annette also performed vendor audits to ensure compliance with program requirements.

Annette returned to PPL Corporation in 2007, taking on the role of Manager of Supply Compliance. Annette developed and managed the NERC Compliance Program for PPL's Energy Supply businesses, leading multi-disciplinary teams to successfully complete several audits. Annette also developed a certification process for PPL Energy Supply entities to demonstrate compliance with regulatory obligations.

In 2015, Annette transitioned to the role of Information Assurance Group - Compliance Analyst Lead at PPL Corporation. In this position, they provided analytical, technical, and business process support for the Information Technology Department, focusing on coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on compliance with information technology security requirements, including regulatory standards such as NERC CIP and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Annette Bannon holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University. Annette also obtained a certification in GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) from GIAC in 2016.
