Antigone Antonakakis

Direct Support Professional at PPL First

Antigone Antonakakis has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Starting in 2019, they worked as a Summer Intern at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In 2020, they took on the role of a Community Based Support Worker at Durand and later became a Vice President for Administration and Finance at TCNJ Student Government.

In 2021, Antigone joined Public Partnerships | PPL as a Direct Support Professional and also started working at The College of New Jersey in various positions, including Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Nursing and College Ambassador in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. They also served as a College Orientation Leader in the Office of Student Transitions.

During the same year, Antigone also became involved with The Bonner Foundation, where they held multiple roles such as Student Development Intern, Community Scholar, and Vice President on the Bonner Leadership Team. They also worked as a Summer Orientation Intern.

In 2022, Antigone gained experiences as a Recreational Therapy Aide at Voorhees Pediatric Facility and joined the Student Finance Board at The College of New Jersey as a Compliance Director. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Executive Director in the same organization.

Antigone's future plans include an internship as a Health Administrator Intern at Autumn Lake Healthcare. The work experience summary demonstrates their commitment to various fields, including healthcare, education, and community service.

Antigone Antonakakis completed their high school education at Eastern Regional High School from 2016 to 2020, earning a High School Diploma. Antigone then pursued further education at The College of New Jersey from 2020 to 2024, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. In addition to their formal education, Antigone also earned several certifications, including CPR & AED Certification from the American Heart Association in May 2022, Peer Educator Certification from NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education in July 2021, and Emerging Leaders Program Certification from The College of New Jersey in April 2021.
