Kate Reilly

Director, People & Organisational Development at PPL

Kate Reilly joined PPL in 2011 as Senior HR Business Partner and has since moved into the position of Head of HR in 2012 and later into the newly created role of Director of People and Organisational Development in 2014. Kate has over fifteen years’ experience as a Human Resources professional working within the retail, financial services, oil, not-for-profit, and advertising industries, with expertise in HR strategy, recruitment and retention, coaching, training and development, TUPE, HRIS, payroll, and organisational planning and development.

In her current position, Kate is responsible for working in partnership with the business by delivering a People and Organisational Development strategy that supports the achievement of company goals. Areas include resourcing, reward, development, employee relations and management across the business, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and leading by example to ensure company goals are achieved and exceeded. In addition to this Kate is responsible for property and overall working environment. She also sits on the UK Music Skills board and the UK Music Diversity Taskforce where she has been supporting the Equality and Diversity agenda and helped set up the Diversity Taskforce.

Under Kate’s management, PPL has been a finalist in the Employee Engagement Awards, Employee Experience Awards, Payroll Awards, UK Customer Experience Awards and European Call Centre and Customer Service Awards to date. It resulted in PPL winning ‘Company of the Year – Small to Medium Business’ award at the Employee Engagement Awards 2017.
