Femke Okkerse

Femke Okkerse has extensive experience in educational and psychological support roles, having worked in various capacities since 2006. Currently serving as a Schoolcontactpersoon at PPO Rotterdam since April 2023, Femke previously held positions as an Orthopedagoog and VVE coach at Peuter & Co from 2015 to 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Pedagogisch hulpverlener at CareHouse, a Director of Program Development at The Essential Learning Group in Singapore, and a School Psychologist at Essential Learning Group Shanghai. Femke's earlier career also includes teaching and psychological support roles in Shanghai and the Netherlands, as well as humanitarian work in India. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Special Education and a Bachelor’s in Educational Sciences from the University of Utrecht.
