Belinda Aguilar Thompson

Belinda Aguilar Thompson has extensive experience in the legal field. Belinda started their career in 2004 as an Associate Attorney at Franden | Farris | Quillin | Goodnight + Roberts, where they worked until 2010. Belinda then joined Haynes Benefits PC in 2010 as a Principal & Attorney, advising clients on various federal laws related to welfare benefits plans. In 2016, they joined GEHA Health as an Associate General Counsel and later served as the General Counsel (Interim) from August 2017 to August 2019. Belinda then took on the role of Associate General Counsel before being promoted to Vice President & Deputy General Counsel in November 2019.

Belinda Aguilar Thompson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications at Louisiana State University from 1995 to 1999. Belinda then attended Loyola Law School, Los Angeles from 2001 to 2002, focusing on the study of law. Thompson's education continued at The University of Tulsa College of Law from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
