Medical Device Compliance Specialist at PQE Group

Bianca Barzaghini has extensive work experience in various fields, beginning with their current role as a Medical Device Compliance Specialist at PQE Group since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Politecnico di Milano, where they pursued a PhD in Bioengineering from November 2019 to December 2022. During their time there, they gained expertise in biofabrication, bioinformatics, and biological and genetic research through their involvement in the ERC-funded project NICHOIDS. Additionally, they served as a Teaching Assistant from September 2020 to September 2022 at Politecnico di Milano. Before their PhD, Bianca worked as a Management Staff member at MilanoVino Eventi from September 2015 to April 2022. Lastly, they were a Master Thesis Student at the European Research Council from September 2018 to July 2019.

Bianca Barzaghini has a strong educational background in the field of bioengineering and biomedical engineering. Bianca obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering - Regenerative Medicine from Politecnico di Milano, graduating between the years 2019 and 2022. Prior to their PhD, Bianca completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Engineering - Cells, Tissues, and Biotechnology from the same institution between the years 2017 and 2019. Bianca also completed the "Introduction to Genomic Technologies" course from the same institution in May 2020. In April 2020, Bianca completed the "Bioinformatic Methods I" course offered by the University of Toronto through Coursera. Bianca obtained additional certifications such as an "Intensive course in Laser physics" from iPen - Innovative Photonics Education in Nanotechnology in May 2019, and an "Introductive course on animal experimentation" from Istituto Mario Negri in December 2018. Additionally, Bianca holds a TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) certification obtained in December 2016 and a Goethe-Zertifikat B1 from Goethe-Institut e.V.
