Katie McCasey

Kaitie McCasey has a diverse range of work experience in the events and hospitality industry. Katie started their career in 2002 with an internship at San Diego Sports Commission, where they gained valuable experience in event management. From 2002 to 2007, they worked as a Sales Manager at THE BRIGANTINE, INC.

In 2008, Kaitie joined PRA Business Events and took on various roles. Initially, they served as the Director of Business Development, where they played a key role in expanding the company's client base. Katie then transitioned to the role of Senior Sales Manager, where they excelled in coordinating events and transportation systems for groups visiting the San Diego area. Kaitie's expertise lies in assisting clients with selecting the right local partners and planning unique, cost-effective, and environmentally-friendly events.

Later on, they became the Senior Regional Sales Manager at PRA Business Events, further demonstrating their leadership and sales abilities. Throughout their career, Kaitie has consistently showcased their passion for the events industry and has gained extensive knowledge and skills in event planning and sales management.

Katie McCasey obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from San Diego State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In 2021, they also earned a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
