Shannon Bates

Shannon Bates, MBA, CMP, DMCP, has extensive experience in the hospitality and events industry, currently serving as the Director of Special Projects & Systems Support and previously as the Regional Director of Experience Design at PRA Business Events since February 2018. Prior roles include Director of Sales at Destination Nashville from January 2011 to February 2018, Catering Sales and Event Production at Chef's Market Cafe & Takeaway from August 2006 to December 2010, and Catering Director at Nashville Convention Center / Centerplate from June 2003 to August 2006. Shannon holds an MBA from Auburn University (2000-2001) and a BS in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Auburn University (1996-2000).
