CEO at Praan

Angad Daryani's work experience begins in 2013 when they founded and became the CEO of Sharkbot 3D Systems, a company focused on developing affordable 3D printers. Angad managed the company's finances, led a team of engineers, and contributed to product design and production.

In 2016, Angad worked as the 3D Printing Space Manager and Workshop Designer/Instructor at M5 Makerspace at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Angad set up and managed the 3D printing space for the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and organized workshops for students.

Angad had a short-term role as an Innovation & Digital Strategy Consultant at Artis India in 2019. Angad worked directly with the board of directors and supported the execution of campaigns for legacy businesses in the innovation and digital space.

In 2017, Angad took on multiple roles. Angad founded project Praan at Georgia Tech, where they focused on developing AI-powered air purification systems. Angad also worked as an Electrical Engineer for HyTech Racing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Additionally, Angad served as a Policy Advisor for the Ministry of Human Resource Development in the Government of India, where they contributed to the drafting of India's new national education policy.

In 2018, Angad was invited as a Guest Speaker at Netcore CNBC Martech Marathon and addressed top executives about creating an environment for agile development and solving problems for a billion people.

Angad's most recent work experience includes their roles at Praan, where they are currently serving as the CEO & CTO. Praan aims to capture particulates, carbon dioxide, and other pollutants from the atmosphere and has raised funds from various investors. Angad is also a Strategic Advisor for The Collegiate Propulsive Lander Challenge, a non-profit grant competition focused on rocket launching and landing, and an Advisor for the Hult Prize Foundation.

Angad Daryani pursued their education starting from 2002, where they attended Don Bosco High School in India for kindergarten through Grade 9. From 2012 to 2014, they were homeschooled and completed Grade 9 and 10 with a focus on IGCSE and NIOS curriculum.

Moving forward, from 2014 to 2016, Angad attended the International Baccalaureate program. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016 and continued their studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering until 2017.

Finally, Angad Daryani transferred to the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2020.
