Rodrigo Peres Mendes Souza

Rodrigo Peres Mendes Souza has a diverse work experience in various industries. Rodrigo started their career at Perkins Engines Company Limited, where they held roles as a Process Analyst and later as a Quality Supervisor. During this time, they focused on improving quality and implementing continuous improvement projects using Lean 6 Sigma methodology.

Rodrigo then joined GVT as a Quality and Process Specialist, responsible for implementing and structuring the Lean 6 Sigma program. Rodrigo also managed the Continuous Improvement and Customer Experience areas, working on quality performance improvement and KPI monitoring.

In 2015, Rodrigo moved to Vivo (Telefônica Brasil), where they took on roles as a Continuous Improvement Manager and later as a Digital Transformation and Business Transformation Senior Manager. Rodrigo implemented the Lean 6 Sigma program nationwide and led strategic high complexity projects.

After their time at Vivo, they joined Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná as a Customer Experience and Service Operations Director, focusing on digital transformation, customer journey implementation, and process optimization.

Currently, Rodrigo works at Practia Global as the COO - Chief of Operations, Brazil. Rodrigo is responsible for managing customer relationships and overseeing the entire operations area, including service delivery management and the technical team. Their expertise lies in RPA and Hyperautomation, Digital Transformation, and Project Management.

In 2001-2005, they attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, where they obtained their High School degree in Engineering.

From 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Master's Degree in Engineering at the same institution, Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná.

In 2013, they attended FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance, General.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt certification from Caterpillar Inc. in September 2004. Rodrigo then proceeded to obtain the Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt certification from Caterpillar Inc. in May 2007. Additionally, in November 2013, they achieved the LSS MASTER BLACK BELT - CERTIFIED certification from Seta - Desenvolvimento Gerencial.
