Brandon Hobson, CFA, CPA

Brandon Hobson, CFA, CPA has over 17 years of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Brandon is currently working at PracticeCFO as a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer (CIO). Prior to this, they worked at Intuit as a Senior Revenue Accountant, where they were responsible for revenue accounting. Before joining Intuit, Brandon worked at CareFusion as a Senior Accountant, specializing in technical accounting and financial reporting. Brandon started their career at PwC as an Assurance Associate, where they gained experience in auditing. Brandon also interned at PwC as an Audit Intern. Brandon's early work experience includes serving in the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer.

Brandon Hobson, CFA, CPA, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from San Diego State University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they completed an Associate's degree in Business Administration at MiraCosta College. In terms of certifications, Brandon Hobson earned their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the AICPA in June 2013 and obtained their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in February 2022.
