Gary

Gary Ma has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gary started their career as a Senior Program Manager and Webmaster at National Medical Fellowships, Inc. from January 2000 to April 2004. Gary then worked as an EFL Instructor at various Universities and High Schools in Asia from May 2004 to May 2008. Gary then transitioned into the logistics industry as a Logistics Customer Service Specialist at DB Schenker from June 2008 to February 2009. Gary then moved into data analysis and marketing roles at Practical Law at Thomson Reuters, where they worked as a Marketing Data Analyst from March 2010 to March 2011, a Senior Marketing Data Analyst from April 2011 to March 2012, a Team Leader of the Data Technology Team from April 2012 to July 2012, and finally as a Manager of Data Research and Analysis from July 2012 to July 2016. Gary then served as the Director of Data Strategy and Analytics at Leopard Solutions from October 2016 to April 2017. Currently, they are working at Practising Law Institute (PLI), starting as a Senior Manager of Marketing Database, Research, and Analytics from August 2017 to December 2018, and currently in the role of Director of Data and Analytics since January 2019.

Gary Ma obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communication, General from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Applied Machine Learning from The Data Incubator in 2018 and several certifications related to Python and programming from Coursera, with completion dates in 2017. In 2009, Gary also obtained a Microsoft Office Specialist certification from Microsoft.
