Phil Maddaloni

Phil Maddaloni has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Phil currently serves as the VP of Software Services at Praecipio Consulting, where they lead the software development practice, manages the development team, and collaborates with customers on projects. In addition, they work closely with the sales team to assess project scope and cost.

Before joining Praecipio Consulting, Phil worked at 6kites for nine years as the CTO, overseeing all aspects of technology, including application architecture, design, development, and DevOps. Phil also implemented Agile practices and provided Agile coaching for both internal operations and clients.

Prior to that, Phil served as the CTO of Utilities at Avanquest Software and held the position of Sr. Director of Engineering/Threat Research at Webroot Software, where they led the engineering efforts for various security products and technologies.

Earlier in their career, Phil worked at CQG, Inc. as a Web Architect, where they played a senior role in developing an online trading platform for commodities trading. Phil also served as the Director of Site Architecture at netLibrary, where they directed the engineering and architecture efforts for an e-book management and delivery system.

Phil began their career at Access Health as a Sr. Programmer Analyst, where they developed software to guide patients to appropriate levels of care based on their medical needs.

Before entering the technology industry, Phil worked at Credit Suisse First Boston as a Quantitative Analyst/AVP, where they developed, tested, and supported applications used by equities traders for position tracking, order execution, and automated trading.

Phil Maddaloni completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Automation Pro III Certificate from Workato in June 2022, Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2020, Agile Certified in Agile Development with Jira Software (ACP-JSW) from Atlassian in June 2017, Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator (ACP-JA) from Atlassian in April 2017, SAFe® 4 Certified Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2018, and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in November 2017.
