Trudy Claspill

Trudy Claspill has extensive work experience in the software engineering and quality assurance fields. Trudy is currently employed at Praecipio as a Senior Architect since July 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Anitian, where they started as a Software Engineer in January 2019 and later transitioned to a Senior DevOps Engineer until July 2022. At Anitian, Trudy developed IaC/CaC products for AWS cloud-based resources and third-party products, utilizing technologies such as Pulumi, Ansible, Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting. Trudy also implemented testing and modified products to implement new features and correct defects.

From 2014 to 2019, Trudy worked at CDK Global as a Software Engineer IV. In this role, they provided consultancy and support across the continuous delivery ecosystem for product development teams. Trudy coached development teams on the implementation of continuous delivery tools and practices to improve software quality and speed. Additionally, they worked on automated and manual testing using HP UFT tools and HP ALM/Quality Center.

Prior to CDK Global, Trudy worked at ADP from 1996 to 2014. Trudy held the role of QA Engineer IV, where they developed and executed manual and automated tests for web and fat client applications in Windows environments. Trudy also served as the system administrator and application administrator for division-wide HP ALM/Quality Center. Earlier in their time at ADP, Trudy worked as a Software QA Engineer III, conducting testing for software products running on Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.

Trudy's career started at LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, where they worked as a Software QA Engineer from 1990 to 1996. In this role, they developed software quality assurance procedures, conducted manual testing, and contributed to new software feature designs.

Trudy Claspill holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Southern Oregon State College. In addition to their formal education, Trudy has obtained several certifications. Trudy became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in December 2019. More recently, they acquired certifications in Managing Jira Projects for Cloud and Managing Jira Projects for Data Center from Atlassian in August 2022 and September 2022 respectively. Trudy's most recent certification is as a Jira Administrator for Cloud, which they obtained from Atlassian in February 2023.
