Amar Krishna Shil

Amar Krishna Shil is the current Chief Financial Officer at Pragati Insurance Limited. Prior to this, they were the Head of Accounts and Finance at Nilsagor group from June 2015 to December 2017. Amar has also worked as the General Manager and Manager - Accounts & Finance at Hyundai Motors Bangladesh from December 2012 to May 2015. Amar started their career as an Accountant at Pragati life Insurance Limited in February 2010 and worked there till November 2011.

Amar Krishna Shil is a Bangladeshi chartered accountant who graduated from Comilla Victoria University college with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. Amar then went on to earn their master's degree in accounting and business/management from the same school.

They are on a team with Sirajul Islam Bhuiyan - Deputy Managing Director, Mojibul Alam Khan - Deputy Managing Director, Development Department, and Nasir Uddin - SVP & Head, Internal Audit. Their manager is Syed Sehab Ullah Al-Manjur, CEO.
