Kaiser Rahman

Kaiser Rahman is currently the Deputy Managing Director, Head of Development, Admin & HR at Pragati Insurance Limited. Prior to this, Kaiser was with Bangladesh General Insurance Company Ltd for over 10 years, where they were Deputy Managing Director. In this role, Kaiser was responsible for directly reporting to the Managing Director and assisting the Senior Management with the identification of process enhancements and improvements to existing company operations. This included general supervision of office administration, finance and accounting, underwriting, re-insurance, claims, Management Information Services and Computer Divisions.

Kaiser has extensive experience in handling, coaching, competency development and performance management practices of staff. Kaiser has also been responsible for recruiting, selecting and managing Corporate Head Office and Branch employees. Additionally, Kaiser has ensured the integrity of internal controls from Departmental Heads and provided regular, timely and accurate reports to monitor the progress of all departmental operations. Kaiser has also led the development of claims operating plan, including coordinating the development and implementation of all claims programs and related policies and procedures.

Throughout their career, Kaiser has consistently strived to maintain high standards in all areas of corporate operations. Kaiser has ensured that corporate service standards, claims file/payment, underwriting standards are consistently measured and met. Kaiser has also represented the company in negotiating reinsurance treaties with local and foreign re-insurers. In their current role at Pragati Insurance Limited, Kaiser is responsible for procurement of business directly or through top management leads.

Kaiser Rahman works with Amar Krishna Shil - Chief Financial Officer, Abu Sufian Akhand - Head, IT, and Sirajul Islam Bhuiyan - Deputy Managing Director. Their manager is Syed Sehab Ullah Al-Manjur, CEO.
