Shahriar Omar Faruque,Cert CII(UK) has over 25 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Shahriar Omar started their career at Delta Life Insurance Company Ltd. in 1994 as a Joint Senior Vice President, where they worked until 2014. In 2014, they joined Pragati Training Institute as a Principal, a position they still hold. Shahriar Omar also joined Pragati Life Insurance Limited in the same year as an Executive Vice President.

Shahriar Omar Faruque's education history begins with their secondary education at Gossainbari AA High School, where they received their SSC degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from 1974 to 1984.
