Jonathan Mallia

Jonathan Mallia has extensive experience in the field of business intelligence and data analytics. Jonathan currently holds the position of Head of BI Product at Pragmatic Play since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Data & Analytics at Genesis Global Limited from July 2020 to January 2023. Jonathan also has experience as the Head of Analytics at Genting Casinos UK from December 2018 to July 2020. Before that, they worked as the Lead Data Engineer at Mr Green Online Gaming from January 2018 to December 2018. Jonathan Mallia began their career as a Software Developer in Business Intelligence at Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) in 2007 and held that position until 2011. Jonathan then worked as a BI Consultant at Enterprise Solutions from April 2011 to May 2012. Finally, they worked as a Business Intelligence / Data Analytics Specialist at Deloitte Malta from May 2012 to April 2014. Throughout their career, Jonathan has demonstrated expertise in data warehousing, analytics, and machine learning, and has taken on leadership roles in managing teams and implementing strategies.

Jonathan Mallia has a Master of Science degree in Computing and Information Technology from Northumbria University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Computing at the University of Malta from 2004 to 2007. Jonathan also holds multiple certifications in data science, including courses completed through Coursera, such as the Data Science Specialization, Data Science Capstone, and various others in statistical analysis and programming.
