Christopher Hagen

Christopher Hagen is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in writing and management. Currently serving as a journalist at Forum Communications Co. since December 2019, Hagen previously held positions at HPR Magazine as a writer and photographer from May 2016 to December 2019, and at Kismet Press from May 2010 to December 2019, contributing to the "Fleinsopp Tales" series. Earlier experience includes general management and ownership roles at Broadies Tavern and Broadway Cafe from 1997 to 2010, and a role as a police reporter at Gaston Gazette between 1995 and 1997. Hagen's journalism career began with an internship at the Charlotte Observer in 1994. Education was completed at Wheaton College, where a BA in Journalism/Mass Communications was earned.
