David Fast

David Fast is an accomplished sales and marketing professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Sales at Prairie Meadows since November 2022, David also co-owns The Little Book, an independent bookstore in Highland Park, and holds board member positions at both the Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce and Easterseals Iowa. Previously, David held various leadership roles, including Opening Director of Sales & Marketing for Hotel Fort Des Moines and Director of Sales & Events at Embassy Suites by Hilton Des Moines-Downtown. David's achievements include receiving the 2022 AAA 4 Diamond Award and multiple nominations for sales excellence. David earned a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
