Georgia Karras

Georgia Karras is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Industrial Electricity Program at Prairie State College, where the focus is on aligning curricula with industry needs while providing a robust electrical education. Georgia is also the Principal and Managing Member of Prasino Engineering, LLC, specializing in electrical system modeling and design. Previous experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineer at Environmental Systems Design, Inc., Shive-Hattery, Inc., and Midwest Engineering Consultants, as well as serving as an Adjunct Professor at Prairie State College. Georgia holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
