Jonathan Sander P.e.

Jonathan Sander, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the engineering field. Jonathan currently holds the position of Vice President of Generation at Prairie State Generating Company, where they began in June 2021. Prior to this, Jonathan served as the General Manager at an unspecified company from January 2020 to June 2021. From October 2017 to January 2020, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Prairie State Generating Company. Jonathan also gained valuable experience as a Discipline Manager, Electrical at Benham, a Haskell Company from April 2016 to July 2017 and at Leidos Engineering, LLC from June 2015 to April 2016. Earlier in their career, they served as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at Prairie State Generating Company from March 2014 to June 2015. Jonathan started their career as a Turbine-Generator Engineer at Ameren from January 2009 to March 2014. Additionally, they gained teaching experience as an Instructor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from August 2009 to December 2009. Jonathan's early career included roles as a Research Engineer at Starfire Industries, LLC from August 2006 to December 2008, and at the US Army Corps of Engineers from September 2007 to July 2008.

Jonathan Sander, P.E. completed their education in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jonathan obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 2003 to 2007, followed by a Master of Science degree in the same field from 2008 to 2009. In addition to their educational background, they have also obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
