Brian Hornbeek

Brian Hornbeek has extensive work experience in financial roles. Brian is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Prairieland FS, Inc. since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Burrus Seed Company as the CFO from April 2018 to January 2021, and as a Financial Lead from July 2014 to January 2021. Brian also worked at Tom Lange Company as an Accountant from January 2010 to July 2014, and at Illinois Department of Corrections as an Accountant from July 2008 to July 2009.

Brian Hornbeek completed their education in the field of accounting. Brian obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, Hornbeek obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Illinois in September 2010.
