Akash Mahajan

Akash Mahajan has a diverse range of work experience in the field of water and wastewater treatment. Akash started their career in 2013 as a Project Engineer at MHALASA TECHSOL, where they supervised the erection of platforms for batch reactors and installed and commissioned reactors.

In 2016, Akash worked as a Commissioning Engineer at Sun Enviro Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where they were involved in commissioning starch-based and anaerobic sludge blanket reactor (UASBR) ETP plants.

Akash then joined WOG Group as a Commissioning Engineer, where they participated in the erection of a UASB reactor for PTA-based effluent treatment and managed the operation and maintenance of a molasses-based WWTP.

In 2018, Akash joined SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions as a Customer Service Management Specialist. In this role, they commissioned a sewage treatment plant and served as the operation and maintenance in-charge.

Currently, they are an Associate Manager - O&M PBEN at Praj Industries. Their responsibilities include managing the operation and maintenance of various treatment plants, such as ETPs, RO plants, and MEE plants. Akash also oversees the preparation and review of checklists and SOPs and ensures site safety. Akash effectively manages a team of 37 members in this role.

Akash Mahajan completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Chemical Engineering from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, between 2009 and 2013. In 2016 and 2017, they pursued a Diploma in Industrial Safety from Devaki Institute of Technical and Management Studies.
