Sasisanker Padmanabhan

Sasisanker Padmanabhan has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Sasisanker started their career in 2000 as a Project Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, where they worked until 2002. From 2002 to 2007, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, focusing on protein dynamics and structure using dielectric spectroscopy. In 2008, they joined Ruhr University Bochum Germany as a Research Associate, where they conducted research on the dynamics and structure of proteins and peptides using dielectric spectroscopy. During this time, they also studied the structure and dynamics of ionic liquids. Later in 2008, they joined UC Berkeley as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, where they worked until 2012 under the guidance of John Prausnitz and Alex Bell. Their research at UC Berkeley focused on various areas including membrane proteins and peptides. Since 2012, Sasisanker has been associated with Praj Industries, starting as a Senior Staff Technologist and progressing to the roles of Associate Principal Technologist and currently a Senior Principal Scientist.
