Rachel Christiansen

Rachel Christiansen has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Rachel is currently serving as the Associate Director of Development Events at Pratt Institute since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Manager of Development Events at Pratt Institute from September 2021 to January 2023. Rachel also worked at The New School as a Program & Administration Manager from November 2016 to September 2021. Additionally, they gained experience as a Creative Producer in a freelance capacity from April 2015 to September 2017. Rachel also worked as a Producing Associate at The Office performing arts + film from September 2014 to November 2015. Before that, Rachel was an Artist Services Intern at BRIC (Arts & Media in Brooklyn) for the Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival from April 2014 to August 2014. Rachel began their career as a Production Management Intern at Seattle Repertory Theatre from September 2011 to June 2012.

Rachel Christiansen has a background in Arts Management: Creative Theatrical Production from Purchase College, SUNY. Rachel also pursued French Honours, European Union Law and Politics at The University of Edinburgh. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in 2021.
