Rosemary O'Sullivan Fischer has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rosemary began their career as a Summer Intern in various art galleries and museums, including The Warehouse Gallery, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Robert Steele Gallery, and the Nassau County Museum of Art. Rosemary then worked as a Graduate Assistant at Syracuse University Art Galleries.
In 2008, they joined Colgate University as a Marketing Production Coordinator and Assistant to the Director of Leadership Gifts, where they managed special direct marketing projects and coordinated gift acknowledgment. Rosemary later worked at Pall Corporation as an Art Curator, where they created a database of artwork, curated exhibitions, and organized records.
From 2010 to 2011, they served as a Patron Coordinator at WNET, a public television station. Rosemary then moved on to work at CancerCare as a Special Events Coordinator, where they maintained donor relationships and organized fundraising events.
In 2014, Rosemary joined Pratt Institute, where they held several roles, including Manager of Development Events and Associate Director of Development Events. Rosemary'sresponsibilities included developing fundraising strategies, coordinating events, and working with staff and volunteer committees.
Most recently, they serve as the Executive Director of Development Events and Special Projects at Pratt Institute, a position they assumed in October 2022.
Throughout their career, Rosemary has demonstrated a strong commitment to the arts, fundraising, event planning, and donor relations.
Rosemary O'Sullivan Fischer earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Alfred University, with a concentration in Photography and a minor in Art History, from 2002 to 2006. Rosemary then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Museum Studies with concentrations in Development, Management, and Exhibition Planning from Syracuse University, from 2006 to 2008. Prior to their higher education, they attended Cold Spring Harbor High School, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
